James C. Moody, MA (“Jim”) is a transformative leader with 18 years of progressive nonprofit management experience advancing mission-driven impact, driving revenue growth, and strengthening organizational sustainability. He brings deep expertise in partnership development, strategic planning, board governance and guiding organizations toward their highest potential. Jim is widely recognized for delivering impactful training, cultivating lasting relationships, and providing thoughtful leadership on complex initiatives.

Jim began his management career in the for-profit sector, where he developed a strong foundation in finance, contract management, and executive leadership. In 2007, he transitioned to the nonprofit sector, where he established NY Connects in Orleans County, New York, a pioneering system of information and referral for older adults and individuals with disabilities. Since then, he has held senior leadership roles across healthcare, social services, and education.

A native of southern New England, Jim holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Northeastern Seminary at Roberts Wesleyan College, as well as bachelor’s degrees from Johnson & Wales University and Springfield College. He also earned a Certificate in Nonprofit Board Consulting from BoardSource, a nationally recognized authority on board leadership and governance.

Jim is active in his community of Celebration, Florida, and proudly serves as Vice President of Education for the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Central Florida Chapter.
